I feel comfortable living in Sevilla, and working at CEIP Los Cercadillos. The program has allowed me to engage both teaching practice and the Spanish language into my daily life. I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages, from 5 years old to 12 years old, which has given me a lot of perspective about my preferences in teaching. With the guidance of other teachers at the school, I have gained confidence and knowledge of how to be a better language teacher.

Although I didn’t opt to live in Alcalá de Guadaira, where Los Cercadillos is located, I took the bus daily in order to arrive at work. I preferred to stay in Sevilla in order to be in a more central location, with access to many activities. While living in Sevilla, I have improved my Spanish language level and integrated myself into the culture, through friendships and community.

Thanks to the convenient transportation system, I have had the privilege of traveling to many other cities in Spain and Portugal.

Me siento cómoda viviendo en Sevilla y trabajando en el CEIP Los Cercadillos. El programa me ha permitido involucrar tanto la práctica docente como el idioma español en mi vida diaria. He tenido el privilegio de trabajar con niños de todas las edades, desde los 5 hasta los 12 años, lo que me ha dado mucha perspectiva sobre mis preferencias en la enseñanza.

Con la ayuda de otros profesores de la escuela, he ganado confianza y conocimiento sobre cómo ser una mejor maestra de idiomas.

Aunque no opté por vivir en Alcalá de Guadaira, donde se encuentra Los Cercadillos, cogí el autobús todos los días para llegar al trabajo. Preferí quedarme en Sevilla para estar en un lugar más céntrico, con acceso a muchas actividades. Mientras he vivido en Sevilla, he mejorado mi nivel de español y he podido integrarme a la cultura, a través de las amistades y la comunidad. Gracias al conveniente sistema de transporte, he tenido el privilegio de viajar a muchas otras ciudades de España y Portugal.

Recomiendo este programa a cualquier persona que esté interesado en viajar, aprender idiomas y mejorar sus habilidades profesionales.
